Commercialisation Office is responsible for commercialising intellectual property that originates primarily from inside the University and sometimes outside. The office works with external managers, consultants, funders and others to support the process of achieving commercial outcomes to commercialisation projects. It also works with academics to understand research projects and how these could lead to commercial ventures. Reveal Media's Products include purpose designed body worn video cameras and media management systems. Reveal Media is now the leading provider of video evidence systems to UK police forces, and is expanding overseas. design and installs safety technologies and products for drowning prevention in public access swimming pools. Formed in 2006, the company is the dominant provider in the UK and now sells in many parts of the world.
